Error Sending Email. Please verify your email password. [Google Users]

Problem

You are receiving the following error when trying to send invoices or menus from SOUS:

"Error Sending Email. Please verify your email password."


Solution

This issue is caused when SOUS is not able to connect with your Business Gmail Account.  Please follow the below steps to fix it.

Click your profile icon at the top and select "Business Center"



Go to "Connected Apps"



Under Third-party Applications, locate Gmail and click "Connect App"



Click "Connect"



Choose your Google account.



Click "Continue"



Click "Continue" again 


To check the status of the connecttion, click "Send Test Email"


Enter an email address and click "Send"



If the connection is a success, the email will get sent, a temporary status will be shown at the top of screen and a you will get a test email.
